... of selling dyes and crafting materials to other players which was a very great way of making some real good gold due to supply and demand. Now the Devs turffed all that by having a Dye Merchant and Crafting Material Merchant in Old Ascalon...

Its still follows S&D, and the prices rise and fall accordingly. Just go there and see what they are going for, lower your price a bit, and then sell.

I think the dye and materials traders are awesome. They are outlandishly overpriced but it makes it so people cant charge insane amounts for dyes. This actually makes a better S&D system, and its more capitalistic. If some guy is trying to overcharge you for something you point out that you can get it for a lesser price from a NPC and they will lower their price or lose a sale. I think it is a great idea.

You should sell pouches as I can't seem to find any anywhere in the pre-searing realm ATM. The merchants in town don't seem to have any and I've got quest items for quests I don't even have yet.

pelt pouches? Ask the collecter right outside Ascalon in pre searing(near the res shrine in lakeside). There's another one also but i don't know where. In Ascalon(seared) the trader(collecter) right next to the merchant will trade for a pouch.

(i couldn't find one so i was looking around)

I think that collector might be unique to each player as he keeps offering me elemental magic icons, a healing icons, and ringmail gloves. Pouches would have been nice, but noooo.. just stuff my warrior dude can't use. Maybe I'll find something in the catacombs...

You can just buy belt pouches and bags from vendors in post-Searing. They cost 100 gold each.

Otherwise, you can get a belt pouch from either one of two Collectors in pre-Searing. One wants Skale fins, and the other wants worn belts (I think three of each). The fin guy is easier, he's directly outside the gates of Ascalon City. Belt pouches are all he offers, to all characters.
